I know I haven't been posting much on here, but the move to Japan has taken up all my spare time. I will update everything when we get settled over there, thanks for your patience.

Nashville Zoo

Then it was on to Tennessee to see the other side of the family. The kids had fun playing with cousins Austin and Samantha. We took them all to the zoo and had a great time. They had fun brushing goats and mom had fun in with birds. Yep and the second that Victor took him off my head he pooped. Yikes, that was good timing! We had a really good time, it's good to get that many kids out and about rather than cooped up inside.

Dakota

Kody's teeth picture, and of course one with his toes. He sucks his toe, like most kids suck their thumb.

Ganny's house (pool)

We could not get Issy to stay out of the pool. If she was outside, she was in the water, whether or not she was wearing clothes or a bathing suit.

Ganny's House (fishing)

Ganny and Grandpa Dan took Zackie fishing for the first time on a pond at Ganny's house. They tried giving him a little pole with a bobber, but that didn't produce any results. They then gave him the adult pole and he caught eight fish!! The last three were completely on his own! The funniest this was what he told everyone later, "I caught eight fish!, but not nine or ten."

Ganny's house (tire swing)

The kids had so much fun on the tire swing at Ganny's house. You could never seem to get Issy high enough without her saying "more high, more high." The funny thing is that it ruined her for the swings at the park that just didn't seem to measure up.

New Niece

What a trip!! There is so much to blog and so many pictures that it might take a while to get it all posted, but I will do my best. The kids, the dog, and my sister Jessica left the first week of July and headed to Oklahoma for the birth of our youngest sister Kendras first baby. Macie May was born on Jan. 9th and she is the spitting image of her mommy. We spent a couple weeks there and really enjoyed the family.

Disneyland

The kids were really cute giving the characters hugs. Isabel was all about it, unlike Zac was at her age. He was old enough this time to enjoy meeting them though.

Disneyland

Isabel was so cute dressed like Minnie at Disneyland. The kids, Aunt Jessie, and our friend Laurie went to Disneyland last week. I was excited because Zac was finally tall enough to ride almost everything in the park. The first ride we took him on was splash mountain, which is really cute except for the very large drop at the end. As we were clicking up the track before the drop, Zac said "I don't think this is a good idea." He didn't really enjoy the drop, but the picture they take of you was really funny. Zackarie loves trains and so I thought the next "big kid" ride should be Big Thunder Mountain. He was so excited while we stood in line watching the train go around the track, but again was not pleased on the ride itself. I didn't like scaring him so we didn't go on any more scary or fast rides after that. So we spent most of the rest of the time getting pictures with the characters we could find.

Lastest News

I suppose I should start with the lastest news in our family, and that would be the birth of our third child. Dakota Leland Norris was born on Jan. 9th. We have three beautiful children now, two boys and one girl. Dakota's older brother is three year old, Zackarie Alexander and his older sister is 21 month old, Isabel Rene. They just adore their new baby brother. Dakota is a month old now and doing great. Mostly sleeping through the night which is very nice on his mother, who is still trying to juggle the fact that she has three very young children. Almost coinsiding with the birth of his third child, Victor was promoted to Sergeant in the marine corps. He is doing very well and has just passed his three year mark in the marine corps. We are really enjoying living out here in Twentynine palms California, and the plan right now is to stay out here past his reenlistment.

The blog thing

Well I thought I'd be cool and start this blog thing. "Everyone is doing it." I'm not sure how interesting it will become, I guess it depends on how diligent of a writer I am. I noticed that one of my friends blogs has posts every sunday, that would help to have a day that I make time to sit down and write something. I'm trying to decide whether to make a blog for the family or one for myself. It would be kind of wierd to call it the victornorrisfamily blog and make it all pink. ;) Maybe I'll have two, that would make more sense I suppose. This one will be for the family pics and "adventures" and such about all of us and I'll set up another one for personal stuff about me. Ok, now that we have that figured out, lets begin.
